    spacious room
    fantastic breakfast
    great location
    check-in issues
    a/c controls

The Gamma hotel impressed me with its location, just a couple of blocks from the bustling Plaza Grande, making it easy to explore Merida. My room, the Superior Double Room, was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed that allowed for great sleep after long days of sightseeing. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, featuring a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, including paella and made-to-order omelets, which exceeded my expectations. I loved the ambiance created by the local band playing during breakfast. However, I faced some challenges with the A/C controls—they were outdated, requiring constant adjustments to maintain a comfortable temperature. The check-in process was a bit rocky too. arriving late at night left me struggling to get inside since the door was locked without clear instructions. Overall, the hotel's amenities and maintenance should be addressed to enhance guest satisfaction further.

    spacious rooms
    confusing elevator
    disappointing coffee arrangement

Well-kept, spacious rooms with attentive front desk staff.

I faced numerous challenges during my stay that really affected my experience. First, the functioning of the elevator was confusing, as it required your keycard to operate, making it difficult to navigate initially. Additionally, the coffee arrangement was disappointing. after the first day, I had to pay for extra coffee, which felt like a missed opportunity for providing a more welcoming service.

    good value

It was just a commendable fit for a weekend adventure in Merida with extraordinarily good value for money. The musty smell in the room could be distracting, but the proximity to attractions made exploring the city easy. Check local maps before going out. the front desk's advice can lead you off track.

    pleasant stay with minor hiccups

The gym was a nice bonus for keeping active. I enjoyed the spacious room with comfortable bedding that helped me rest well. Breakfast options were varied, and the noise-reducing carpet in the hallways made for a peaceful atmosphere. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with questions.

The check-in process was not smooth and caused a bit of confusion.
